Visit our 230 acre entertainment farm located just west of Chicago in rural Maple Park. This unique Midwest farm is located on both sides of a country road, offering customers an apple orchard and Christmas tree farm experience on the east side and a good, oil-fashioned farm experience complete with pumpkin harvest on the west side! The season begins each Labor Day weekend when the orchard opens for apple picking. Each Saturday and Sunday thru October customers can pick their own fresh, crisp apples right from the tree, while the aroma of fresh apple cider doughnuts, home-baked pies, fudge, pasturized apple cider and hand-spun caramel apples from The Orchard Shop and Bakery (open Tues-Sun) lingers in the air. Browse the many specialty food and gift items too. Mid-September the west side of the farm opens for some down-on-the-farm-fun like The Maize Corn Maze: 5 acres of Illinois corn now boasts over 2 miles of twists, turns and clues. Stop by the Pumpkin Farm for hayrides, farm animals, a haunted forest, tractor tire mountain, peddle tractor derby, nature walk, jumping pillows, pumpkin picking and many more fall festivities. Unique fall decorations available for your home from The Barn Store. Stop by The Cafe for a taste of the country. Beginning the day after Thanksgiving customers may choose and cut their own Scotch Pine or Fraser Fir Christmas tree or select a fresh, pre-cut tree.
